OSO's Audacity to race One Design in home town (Metro Beach) this weekend!
 

Joey, the throttleman for the F2-80 "Racing for a Cure," team, will be racing One Design for the first time. Racing for a Cure won the APBA Season Opener in Daytona and is currently third in the F2 national points race.

"They will be racing against a long list of One Design racers to finish second in their hometown," said Clear Channel Worldwide writer Terrah Lee. "I cannot remember a home team ever winning besides Keith in Daytona, but that was not a whole team," stated Jeff Cost, the Race Director for the One Design Series. I am sure he will be up for the challenge!

For those not able to attend, the race will be broadcast at 11pm Aug. 21st and again 11 am on Aug. 23rd.

Thanks Chris! We look forward to running this weekend! I always thought it would be cool to run in my hometown! I really think they should make the Lake St. Clair race part of the APBA Pro Series.

I would have to think that if Cape Cod can pull it off!!!... Then Lake St. Clair w/o a doubt could. I'm not sure if those people ever saw a hi-perf boat! They did have an amazing turn out and we did put on a good show for them. Metro is swamped with them! I just see the turn out for the hydro's...the demographics should be there as well...I would love to chat more with ya about this race and others.
