Hey Matt, great article, and I can't wait to see the M41 in person...
The DCB line is amazing, very detail inside/out is just perfect..!!!
I just laugh when I read the POD comments, or Skaters or MTIs don't have it... We all know that already guys, let it go... The M41 will be amazing, Dave is at the top of his game right now, and his new boats are amazing....
When I saw the Green M31 at the LHC boat show last year, I couldn't believe how amazing the interior and gel was... This will be just a larger version of that boat..!!
See u at DS Matt..!!

Looks awesome! Cant wait to see the finished product.
Lets just hope it handles better than its little brother does crossing wakes!
Not trying to stir the pot, but the facts are the facts. There is good reason for us to worry about how its going to handle, especially with the center pod. We all dream about owning a boat that looks this good, lets just hope it handles even better, (including Lake Michigan water)!
As always, thanks for the great read Matt!

If you have read what Teague and Tomlinson have been saying about how the 21 and 35 Widebodies handle you wouldn't have said that...

Fair enough to say that big Skaters and MTI's don't have center pods for a reason. However, the degree to which the pod affects a catamaran's rough water ability can make a big difference depending on the depth and size of the pod. I don't think anyone will argue with that, and from the rendering, it is impossible to judge the depth and size of the pod relative to the sponsons.
But I'll you what: I'll ask Dave Hemmingson about it and get back to you.

and if you'd seen the orange one that rolled and hurt several people while going on 55 you'd believe different too
