Question Pop up Livorsi Led Bow light questions

Has anyone installed a Livorsi pop up led bow light..? The instructions online say that you have to drill a 3" hole in your boat...which isnt so bad but then I see they offer a cup to go under the light to catch the water but where would I route the water to so it doesnt ruin anything..?

I drilled a small through hull with a screen cover to let water drain. Tube attached to that runs up to the cup.

they make a little thru hull fitting that you can route right out of the side of the bow. I have one on each side, one for the light and one for my pop up cleat.

Yes, they are worth the effort. Unless you like water in your bow.

Doesn't yours have the small plastic thru hull drain fitting for the compartment behind the front mirror already? (Looks like a gas tank vent) Tie into that, or install one.

If you do, there will be the small clam shell looking vent up below the bow eye, where you hook your winch strap.
