Default Weather and road help on I80 from MN to CA

We are leaving Minneapolis MN tomorrow, Tuesday, and traveling to Des Moines Ia. on I35W. Then going on I80 across Neb. to Cheyenne WY. on to Salt Lake City UT then to Reno NV and finally to San Francisco CA. Anyone been that route lately? Weather forecast for the next several days? Any hints/help??

Thanks. I checked the weather in the other major cities and it looks like no snow and 40's -50's for the 10 day forecast. Anyone along the line with updates?

Go to www.weather.com and check the forecast for each of the major towns along your route. Also make sure your vehicle is ready for a long trip and make sure to bring a gallon or two of drinking water and a blanket. Also make sure windshield washer fluid is topped off and you have an extra gallon. And I would Rain-X the windows in case you hit rain or snow. It makes driving so much easier.

Good Luck !!!!

Made it to Salt Lake City with absolutely no problems. You can drive across Neb. and Wyoming and Utah at between 75-79 mph with no problems and make great time. The weather was outstanding with record temps. in most areas, so did not have to run the "snow" risk.
Going from SLC to Reno tomorrow and then on to SF.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
