Default Four-Bolster Sunsation 36-Footer Under Construction

Stuff like this lifts Sunsation right out of the "semi-custom" builder category and right into "custom," http://speedonthewater.com/new-boats...struction.html.

That's pretty cool! I am not sure about those graphics yet, but I definitely want to see the finished product.

That is correct. According to Wayne Schaldebrand, all the boats sold out of Hawkeye get painted there. Mitcher T still paints for Sunsation and his other clients.

When the 36 was first discussed, I remember talk of it being available either side by side or staggered. I guess they held out on the tooling until someone finally wanted a side by side (or in this case, had to have). A side by side without the second row of bolsters would have a nice amount of cockpit space.

Cool.

I agree with you Matt!

Having been spoiled with a Huge cockpit in my last 2 boats, its hard to find a new boat that will keep me happy. This opens up the options! Glad to see Sunsation making an extended cockpit, and I hope others follow. This is where 95% of your time is spent anyways!
