I need some help. I have the opportunity to buy a 1983 31' Excalibur CC with twin 235 hp... Boat is in alright shape but I have no clue about these boats... I can also buy a 1990 25' aquasport with twin Johnson 150's... Which is my best choice... Aquasport is deff in better shape but the 31' Excalibur CC looks so damn cool

Buy the boat you can enjoy the most..........the aquasport IMO. Last thing you want to do is get into something that may require extensive refurbishing cost. A good general rule is that if the boat is in below average condition it will likely cost 100% of the purchase price or more to refurbish it. If it is in above average condition it could take between 50-100% of the price of the boat to refurbish. If its in good condition shouldn't be a problem.......

If you like the cool factor there are many other choices to choose from. Lots of CC boats out there in the 24-28ft range.
