I'd be a little more concerned as to why the boat was filled with fresh water while sitting in salt water... things that make ya go hmmmmm.

Don't need much of a hole in a water intake line to sink a boat overnight. Take a look at the size of your intake hose sometime, at least twice the size of a garden hose and three times the size of a drain plug hole.

small hole 1/8 inch maybe ,2 ss lines laying over eachother rubbed through dont take long to kill the batts ,once the aft vents reached water level it was all over

That's what I was thinking. When your paying that kind of coin for a boat of that caliber, I would think everything would be checked with a fine tooth comb. Everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect it just sucks that this mistake costs so much money.
