My first impression is that the 565 might be the ugliest high performance engine that I have ever seen. Whatever sexy is, that is not sexy.

"Hey open up your hatch so we can check out your engines!" Ehhh, you can go ahead and close it, please....."

+1. Hope to God no one takes that shroud off. It's really hideous underneath.

I suppose you could spruce the top up to make it look like a set of twin carbs with the loss of the shroud and some better looking spark arresters.

But yeah, as is, it looks like the two warts on Lemmy Kilmister's face (see MotorHead). No offense Lemmy!
