Default looking for boat ride in florida !

will be in florida first week of march 2012...

went from montreal canada to atlantic city with my boat last summer... so !

I have the idea of going boating with my 3 daughters and wife, plus my father if ever he wants to come, for a day only, like 1 to 2 hours ride from point A to B, and of course, 1 to 2 hours back from B to A. I had in mind something like Miami or fort lauderdale area to... what... let's say Key west? or miami to Bahamas? or miami to Bimini? I don't know how long these runs are... Does these sound logical? or too long of a trip?

second thing, I need to find a boat! Of course sport boat is better! are there any places you guys could refer me to ? are these rental places? or Charter places? would the solution be to go with a fishing boat ride rental without fishing?

Or go with someone on the board?

Or should I only think about renting a small 18 footer open deck and only run in the canal?

ready to hear from you guys! Thanks for your help !
