The intake manifold is a modified design with a redo of the top of the HP500-HP525 EFI manifold similar to the change they made to this design for the new 502HO Mercruiser version.

Its the same intake as the 500 and 525, but they blocked off the front where the TB normally goes and machined 2 holes on top where the sticker normally goes. It has dual 80mm electronic throttle bodies now, but the flame arrestors are off the 496's.
