Anyone been to Lake Palestine?

Going there for July 4th wknd. Trying to get a feel for the lake.....anyone been? Anyone going? Any personal thoughts @ the lake, etc?

Sorry, no don't know much of Palestine, but Richland Chambers is having a show and daytime activities. Nice big lake. Not enough sport boats yet. Look for a 33 Outlaw with red/black checkered flag Boss Graphics (yes) named "Texas Tease" down toward the southeast/dam area on south shore if he doesn't come with us.
