Default Miss Geico Racing: No Rest for the Weary

Written for the more general audience of Boats.com, but a pretty decent overview at what's been going on with Miss Geico Racing, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...the-weary.html.

Sorry for the double link. It's a contractual thing.

Thanks for bring us another great story to read Matt and to see whats going on in the off season with Miss Geico. Miss Geico is indeed a very busy Team and a great ambassador for the sport of Offshore Powerboat Racing and show casing their Sponsors.

Do they tear down the turbines after each season? If not, how many seasons are the turbines on since last re-build?

I believe they rebuild multiple times each season depending on the situation. They are sticklers for mitigating engine failures during a race week.

I just posted on a different thread that anyone who gets a few hours free in the South Florida area should call them to see the facility. It is top notch, they are very gracious and really enjoy sharing what they are doing.
