For what?
Speed?
Comfort & amenities?
Ride?
Handling?
Fit & Finish?
Lay-up materials and methods?
Resins used?
Freeboard?
Twins/singles?
Blah Blah Blah

I've been in a few Panteras, solid ride, no freeboard, won't burn the speed. Seen Lavey and it's quality tops the others by a long shot IMO. West coast boat so you won't get much feedback here tho.

In the end 28 is bare minimum for rough water, wouldn't expect too much out of one.

Maybe a basic one w/ a single?

Could call em and find out.

Out of new boats, I'd consider them one of the best choices for an ocean 28. I'd also think of AT (if they'll still build a 28, think they have a new stepped one) and Lavey.
