This will be fun to watch. I know the previous owners of that boat. Will be great to see it updated.

This project is moving along fast!! All gutted, transom and bulkhead 'test spots' were drilled and revealed some moisture. Looks like its down the road for another transom job and a little further with the bulkhead replacement. Once this minor 'speed bump' is crossed we are very close to paint!!

Pretty sure the boat was traded in to Pier 57. No one to make happy but themselves.

The last picture in this post shows the transom that appears to be stripped down to the exterior glass (if I'm seeing things correct). I'm not trying to get ahead of your story, but how is the transom rebuilt and with what materials? Do you laminate the new structure with glass and resin by clamping in place, and then cover that structure with glass and resin? Thanks for the pics & thread!
