A 25' will be great for what you are looking to do. My 25 PP handled lake st clair no problem last year and i agree its nice to have a boat thats easy to tow & toss in some of the inland lakes.

I can cruise along at 55-60 mph in 2 footers and carry on a conversation with my wife and when I drop into a hole I come out the other side flying level, not dragging my twin BB azz and flying the bow.
Texacomapowerboater, Maybe you should buy a cruiser and join boaters ed forum. Who trashed your boat here? No one. I've driven a 28 Apache and with a ton of power you can have a fast wave crusher, IF you know how to drive it. The bow popping out of the water all the time gets old. Once again IF you know how to drive it that won't happen. I've driven a 41 Apache with 1860 HP and it was and still is a rock solid boat.....see....not trashing anyones boat. To each his own.

Even being fairly new to this type of boating and not being on to many "go fast" boats, I love my Tantrum. I agree with you guys, I'm not about to go slam a boat I've never been on.

I wont knock a boat I've never been in, but if I wanted twin big blocks I wouldn't go with anything under 31-33'...personal preference. Most are too ass heavy.

I'm not being a dik so don't put me in the same group a Tex. I didn't say anything bad about the boat. AT builds a great boat.

Cool vid. There are 3 here and I run into them regularly at the launch. Yes they look short and fat. Optical illusion that short performance boats with 8' beams are affected by.
