You tow like 1.5 miles to the ramp in a 35mph zone. Realistically you would be fine if you towed with my diesel Chevette that distance.

There's NO WAY I would tow your 33 or mine with a half ton.

Haha. It's actually about .38 of a mile. Did it with a 1500 GMC and 1500 RAM. Took the RAM about 80mi round trip twice no probllem.

if your less than 5mins to the ramp and have a half ton you will be fine, dont waste time, money and effort on something else.

They only made around 13 or so, and all but 3 are twins (couldn't imagine working on twins in this bilge!).

There was a single listed after I bought mine that had no rear center seat that I think was listed for 40, no idea what it brought.

I'd figure a clean 28 PP to be priced very similar to the 97 Pantera referenced on here (only w/ more than a 502 mag for power), at least that's exactly what I'd be looking for if I were selling mine I'd guess.

That Pantera looks awesome by the way, but don't think it'd run too hard w/ a 502 mag. If they'd rig it w/ motor you bought/built for no labor that'd be a pretty nice boat I'd think.

Do you have a 1/2 ton, if so what is the setup and tow rating? I'd think a single would be a definite requirement.

The bilge is very shallow front to back in mine, there's actually small clearance holes cut for the pulleys in the front bulkhead haha. That's why the other single I've seen had no middle seat, it had steps there instead to clear a BBC.

I think they're setup more for twin SBC's, would be tight side to side I think but still not fun to get in there w/ two I don't think.

If I sell mine it'd be to be a passenger for a while and save some cash for some better toys in a few years (and maybe do some more work on the Harley haha). I'd have to spend a lot more money to get something I like more than just a little bit more than my boat honestly. I could double what I spent and just gain a little size/speed but not like it that much more I don't think.

I have a '07 F-150 4 x 4 with 5.4, towing package with 3.73 limited slip.

I tow my Formula 255 Liberator with twin SBC's the weighs in at 7500 lbs with trailer, gear and 125 gals of fuel. The trailer is a twin torsion axle aluminum bunk with 4 wheel 12,500 # disc brakes. Trailer is rated at 10,500# Gross.

This rig tows like a dream...very stable at 65~70 on Interstate/Turnpike. I use 4 wheel drive on the ramps...especially at low tide.

I am planing trips to NW Florida and North Alabama with this rig with no hesitation.
