Skater has continued to weather the storm as well improve their product. They always seem to be busy.

I just stopped by the Douglas Marine Skater factory on Enterprise Drive in Douglas, MI. It looked overgrown, as if it was closed and out of business. Can anyone speak to this?

They are closed on Fridays. I think they do 4 10 hour days. It's never been well groomed outside, lol! They are still in biz though.

They are also on there annual summer 2 week vacation. Let me know if you need anything. 903-814-8848. A few people will be working thru the vacation.

My family spent the week up in Douglas/Saugatuck. We went out on the water several times, but never saw any skaters. It was mostly sedan bridges and cruisers. Do they demo the boats in the area? Btw, we stayed at Tower Marine. Great people and a great location.

That's the first time I have seen a motor picked by the exhaust manifolds . I would be afraid they might bend or crack . RG.
