Jesus, wtf are you his lawyer...

I just thought about this...you're telling me Pete has some special way to lay up a 39 that will bring the weight down under the 4k and change the OL is with a single engine...

I'm sorry but you just sound STUPID...

that'll be a great boat in a rough sea...

12 years, ranting and raving, he doesn't care to have a boat from apparently the Messiah of all performance boating? Who is this guy?

"Dan from Skater" haha I love Dan..but this is...honestly laughable...

Whatever/whoever is included in any comparison I want to see them run in some 3-4s and have sealed engines with locked boxes.

Hoefully Peter gets the weight out of the 39, but builds it better than he laid up the honey party boat. This is one race in europe, in which the SV 40 & SV 43 Outerlimits competed in several seasons with zero stress cracks or failures

What about all the outer limits that flipped and broke in europe? What's Nigel his boat spun and flipped in a straight line.

FYI, 143 mph in a v bottom is a great accomplishment. I know the boat, and he was running big power, however I would be remissed if I didn't remind everyone that OL is running 144+ on the rev limiters in (2) 44's with 1300 HP, 147 in the 44 with Arnesons & 140+ in a 44 with stock 1075's.

All very imoressive when put into perspective that we are comparing a very light 39'v versus 44' vee's with full cabins and a/c, generator, and 600+ lbs in stereo equipment alone.

Ironically the boat that flipped in sweden sustained virtually less structural damage (other than damage sustained from lifting it out of the water full of pure swedish salt water) than the above mentioned skater. (His damage was not the result of a collision or a roll over, that was just running.

Take the mold they built the fountain from. Build a pleasure boat. Same weight and power. Run them. Who wins wins. Period. Some boats do things better than others. It comes down to personal preference.

The skater is faster than all the other bottoms. In SV that boat had to weight more than the others just to make it fair. It was that much faster pound for pound. Same motors. So say what you want but it's History. Then OL copied the skater bottom. To try and keep up.
