what compound to buff/polish gelcoat

I just finished snow bolwing my hull. Nice and white but I need to buff and then wax it so it will stay this way.

I have an abrasive compound for gel coats i will use this first.
but what do you GLASS GUYS use for the final polish of gelcoat.

Had a local guy fix a chip for me and matched the gel and filled on my old boat, then used a compound to polish with a small angle grinder and small wool pad. looked like new!!!! I need to know that polishing compound

I may stop buy to see him if no response here. want to work on it Saturday

thanks

Re: what compound to buff/polish gelcoat

I have had great results With a product called "IOSSO". I have polished many, many boats over the years And I'm very impressed with this product. I belong to a boat club and have turned many members on to this product. All I do after wetsanding W/1000 or 1500 is polish with IOSSO. Waxing is optional. For wax I generally use Meguiars mold release wax. It's a ***** to work with but the long lasting results are worth it. feel free to call me 847 816 8468. Mark.
