Default Help!!got in to a collision with rocks()pixs

My Wife wanted to take the fishing boat out and not the baja hammer, So I Took Both boats to the lake.My wife left one hour before me and took are old 2004 tahoe q7 and she said the boat would not start and she got pushed in to the rocks.So I got 2 Estimate and they are$11k and NADA.com is only $13k on the boat I have state farm,Do you think its a total loss?

The lower gear unit is leaking oil,the prop is locked and will not turn and the inside of boat is wet... Girls can't drive

Sold. Wow sorry lots of damage. Good luck. Was it towed ??? If so tell us that story. Sorry for You loss an not trying to start something. Just wondering about a Tow service. Artie

pushed on to the rocks? You mean driven into a rock pile. Unless you had 8 ft seas lol

all she said was The wind drifted the boat into the rocks and then rangers had to push the boat off and pull with a rope to dock. it was her worse experience ever she said, she scared to get on the water now and she had my 3 year old son with her!!

It happend on this side of the lake and the wind was 35mph+

I will get her back in water but not let her Drive!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope this boat is a total loss,Has anyone had a boat that was repaired? I don't think I will feel safe on a boat that was fixed!!!

Being that its a tahoe, I'm sure it will be considered a total loss. But they will require more than at least 3 separate quotes from glass shops.. Tahoes are built a little on the thin side as it is and being that close to NADA, I can't imagine they would try to repair it. If I were you, I'd claim it a total loss and find out what the buy back price is. It's usually 80% of what the average bid at the auction would be. So if you were able to buy it back for $2k and shop out the repairs, you could come out on top. Even better if you're willing to tackle the repairs yourself..
