Question Has anyone ever heard of Hawaiian Boats?

Not Super Hawaii, but Hawaiian.

An ad for one for sale caught my attention. It is a 1979 26’ with a 454 and an Arneson Surface Drive. Does anybody out there know anything about Hawaiian Boats?

Here is the picture in the ad.

Never owned one but try 411 for Corona California (they build them there).

They are a small custom boat manufacturer located in Norco, California. I have been to their shop a few times, not to buy a boat, but to deal on other items that Wayne (the owner) seems to end up with on trades. Their quality is AVERAGE, with that said, it is possible the 1979 was manufactured under entirely different conditions. My brother-in-law has a 1993 27' catamaran produced by this company using an Australian mold (It is for sale by the way 502 Merlin heads lightning exhaust) and is a heavy laid-up boat. Rigging is good. Look IN and UNDERNEATH the boat not just the outside. I've noticed alot of Home Depot, and Stanley products holding the interior together.

I remember a posting on the other website on this boat company. A former worker from that era was asked several questions about the company, and their boats. Worth your time to check it out.

Thrillseeker - it may be, I saw it in the Michigan Auto & RV.

Chart - which website are you refering to?

I talked to the seller today, he said it was a heavy layup and that it rides like a Cadillac. He didn't know much about the builder other than it was made in California and they are now called Team Hawaiian Boats.
