Default Rare Skater 488 V-bottom Runs 118 MPH

One of only three Skater 488 V-bottoms, this newly repowered model runs a reported 118 mph with a pair of Mercury Racing HP700SCi engines....

Epoxy boat no doubt. Cigarette could never get that speed with their layup.

Looks like Whipple flame arrestors in the engine pic. That would be a Whipple Stage 3 kit or better. 118 mph seems more realistic at 865hp, as opposed to 700hp. Either way, it's an awesome piece.

This is a pretty major upgrade...nice speed none the less...definitely not STOCK 700s by any means though as the article implies.
