Nope. Undid the steering ram for this side and crossbar. Threaded a long bolt down into the broken off piece. Turned the drive to the side by hand to clear the transom ring. Aligned the drive and gimbal ring holes. Put a pair of vice grips on the end of the bolt and another pair loosely on the shaft of the bolt and used that pair as a slide hammer against the head of the long bolt while keeping pulling pressure on the other pair. Walked it out, had someone help align the holes once it was out and popped the new one in. loctited 12pt screws.
When taking out the 4 12pt bolts that hold this thing in be careful. They are loctited in and I was lucky to have got them out without damage. Ck motorsports told me you should use a map torch and slightly warm them before removal to free up the loctite hold.
