Default New Boat, Cracked hull:(

Hi everyone, So i just picked up this 1994 renken bowrider with the 4.3 and I was so concerned about making sure the transom and bellows were ok that I completely missed this crack when I bought it. This devastated me today when I saw it. Do you think it is fixable with some fiberglass patch or something else? Also some of the spots were you just see a dark hole that is ether a screw or some other object poking through. On one of the holes I could feel a pointy tip so im guessing a screw but I dont know why a screw would be down there. One of the pics make the crack look worse then it really is because of the brown streak that is there.

If you can easily get to that area from Inside the Hull fixing it is no big deal, If it's hard to get to then it becomes a Much Bigger Job......

I could get to it from the inside fairly easy I just have to pull up the floor. What could be causing the cracking? Also what is the sharp object poking through? I didn't think they put screws down there? Thanks again!

its only fiberglass . . . . yes it most certainly is fixable. I have literally cut hundred plus mile an hour boats almost in half and put them back together
