Awesome. I was kicking myself driving home to Illinois last year on Sunday and having to just listen to the back to back to back runs of My Way.
Wasn't it Cosker who made the 108MPH pass last year?
I think Bill Tomlinson will surpass 215 MPH. Good Luck!
That is incredibly fast! So how long does it take for a boat going 215mph to slow down to idle?
Cool story... I guess I don't understand why it couldnt just be posted over here instead of links to speedonthewater.com ...? I see quite a bit of this lately. but oh well just food for thought. that boat is nasty I hope he hits his mark!
To answer your question, which is a good one ...
Speedonthewater.com is a daily news site and a separate entity from offshoreonly.com. The news does not gather itself, so to speak. Jason Johnson and I gather it, run it down, do the interviews, acquire the photos, gather the photos, size the photos, publish the stories through the back end content management system of the site. The "cost" of that is an external link to the content on speedonthewater.com.
But here's the thing: By design, speedonthewater.com has no message boards—and won't. So all discussions on stories from there that are posted here, happen here. It's a win-win situation in our view, as well as the view of those in charge of offshoreonly.com.
Hope this answers your question, at least to some degree.
I see... Wasn't bashing just inquiring. Makes sense![]()
