Seattle Hydro Race footage on RealTV
 

I just caught this a little while ago. Did anyone see this? Miss Elan bounced up and onto Miss Budweiser, and stayed on top of Miss Budweiser, as they coasted to a stop. At the last instant the pilot of Miss Budweiser hooked left with the rudder,and narrowly, (and I mean narrowly), missed a raft-up of 6 or so boats with swimmers scattering. It was intense. No injuries. What year was this?

I was at that race and saw it happern from the shore. I can't remember the date though. I want to say that it was about 5 years ago. Trying to remember if I was with Tracy or not. Anyhow how, yeah it was rather exciting. The look on the peoples faces was priceless, thank god he was able to get it stopped in time.

I wasn't there but saw it live on TV. It definitely was intense. Notice the guy in the rubber raft jumps off right before the Bud runs over the raft.
