I had a 454 bored 30 over, balanced crank, new cam, new head, new intake, new everything.
Dyno'd 560hp and has been running for years.
Don't forget you'll need a new exhuast.

I had one in my old Carerra and it had thru the prop exhaust and I could get 4200rpm out of it and I put on,Holley750,eddelbrock performer manifold,MSD ignition system, roller rockers, highflo sparkarrestor and ran the exhaust out the transom with stock manifolds and I picked up almost 400rpm and it ran like an injected motor,I would have got more with better exhaust but sold it before I did that and I had about the same hours when I did that and ran it up to almost 800 hrs with no problems. Those are great motors and respond well to mods. These parts are a good start without going into the bottom end and are all reasonably easy to install. You can just go to a mail order house like CP performance and get all parts from them.Have fun,I did.

Had to run 93 octane.
Don't know the parts, was built by JC Performance.
IIRC, it must have been 5000+exhaust?
cant really remember, and try not to...

You are better off building/buying an HP engine, and keeping your stocker for when its time to sell.
Or even have a backup just in case.

Not a bad piece... especially if it comes w/ the exhaust.
