I have a 15' Whaler for kicking around in, but I really like that Lanier Cat. Thanks for posting, I did not know that Cat existed, I learned something new today. Great post.

Once you ride in one you will like them even more. Very stable, great in choppy water and run hard. There are a couple for sale on Screamandfly.com just search for fastcat.

Don't know if you had a budget at all.

This is a nice-looking CC, not that expensive, deep v, good room for your loads. Not too fishy, great storage. Deep, versatile. I think around 45 with a 150 on it.

Cobia 194 CC

About 50 with a 150 OB on it, meets all of your capacity.

More expensive, heavier, 24.5 deep vee. Solid as a rock.

After riding on one of these in a 20' version, I'd never, ever ride in a Whaler of that size again.

Just picked up a 20' C Hawk center console with a 200 optimax on it. Totally equipped for fishing, seems alot bigger with it's open layout. Had it @ 53 mph on sunday with 4 people on it and a full cooler.

It was cheap too.....

Not a bad price given the engine and hours. Couldn't go wrong if it surveyed well.

I agree with his comparison comments too.
