Default Thermal Coating Marine Headers

I was wondering if a thermal coating in the exhaust tubes would help prevent some heat transfer and thus reduce the chance of thermal related cracking as so often happens to stainless steel headers . Tech Line Coatings has a nice product i think may work . Has anyone tried this ? Could it be the answer ?

I know of a company call Jet Hot Coatings. Im sure your can find them on the web. They did all of my race car stuff years ago (ran alot of nitrous) and never had any problems with headers etc.... Hope this helps.
