Wern't some board members having problems with boatpix? Something about being billed for pics that were never authorized or received? I don't recall the whole story...

On Wed or Thursday of last week a Red Helicopter was flying real low like 2 or 3 hundred feet around the Woodtick Penisula in SE Michigan lake Erie. I made a comment to my friend about flying that low .

Here's the only chopper that has followed me out on St. Clair. If this is what you saw, it's the Coast Guard. This pic was taken at the Jobbienooner. Randy

I too was followed and i think they photographed or videotaped me in front of the nine mile tower by the small red helicopter. He was flying about 100 feet above the water and seemed to go from boat to boat,

The one that followed me was not a Coast Guard Helicopter. It was simular to the one they used in Magnium PI, but a lot older. I looked at the BoatPix web site, and am going to submit a request.

You are better off calling. Find out if they were even in the area that day. I have two different pictures taken by boatpix. They are awesome. The downside is after you buy them you can't post them due to there copyright they have you sign. Waterfowl was the one who had the post about boatpix two or three months ago.

On Sunday the 30th of June Myself in a 31 Cigarette, Chris in his 28 Active Thunder, and Denny in his 24 Carrara were heading east on Lake Erie from Catawba. Around Marblehead a red helicopter was taking pictures of us. They were pretty low and we were able to wave and see the reply. They made a few passes and off they went.

Quick way to find out....is to point a weapon in the direction of the intruder......or even pop a cap a them......you WILL find out real fast. Or maybe not hear a peep....

I was just leaving JBM / 9 Mile Tower area as well when he filmed me. I was in a red/white 31 Cigarette running with a blue/white 34 Scarab
