love the lines of the Doug Wright Poker Run...love to see it in person.
i would think Peter could build one to perform and run rite beside this one

is it me or is the port outboard trimmed a little more than the starboard????

The Doug Wrights sure have been and continue to dominate in the outboard class. I would love to see some other manufacturers get into this class for some healthy competition. The 32 pleasure and a 32 race DW are two diffrent animals. Carry on.

Boat looks good and runs nice. Thanks for the video. Based on the spray and wake of the boat looks like it is really light!

Thanks Jason for a Great Article:

We had a lot of fun at LOTO and it was great seeing you so far away from home.

Specs on Boat:

Beam: 116 inches widest in class.

Length: 32 ft

Power: 2 Mercury 300XS Optimax Outboards

Weight: 4,450lbs approx.

This is the fastest 32 with stock outboards. Plus, it seats five adults and room for everything from coolers to fenders and anchors.

The next event is Monster Bash Poker Run in Lake Havasu AZ. See you on the water.

Some additional photos from LOTO!

Agreed. The windscreen is not the strong point in design on that particular boat. I would have gone with something more like the silver I/O boat.

I just want to say, I met Kap at Larry's on the Lake during the poker run and I can tell you I had no idea who he was until I just read this thread. He mentioned how nice of an older Black Thunder I have and I observed he had on a Doug Wright shirt and we began talking about how his boat stands out. Before I knew it we had walked over to his boat and he was letting me look all through it.

I would like to say thanks for the opportunity to see the boat up close and personal.
