Default 2000 28 Skater

I'm very pleased with the way the boat turned out.

The original paint had been retouched a number of times and looked ok from a distance but up close portions of it looked like it had been painted by a child.
The interior was original and showed signs of 12 years of wear.
Still trying to dial in the set-up, only seeing about 111mph right now, hope to see 115mph before winter comes :-)

In contrast I purchased a brand new 2000 Baja 29 Outlaw and it was hull number 100 out of 102. FOR THE 2000 MODEL YEAR ONLY! LOL

The factory finished the build of my boat in Feb '07. It is #126. A bit of a slow down through the following seven years. With the big boat demand and the increased difficulty of buying a small cat (insurance and financing), I'd be suprised if they were very far in the 130's by now .

Thanks Ted, Hope the summer has went well with the boat. The final rigging and finishing touches you did look perfect. I hope the next photo you post is the GPS speedo reading one-one-five!

Has to be one of the nicest Skater 28's I have seen so far. Very nice piece. Now get that thing dialed in!!!

#1 deck over boat, there's a 92 #1 canopy boat. I have no idea of the hull #, but it's probably soon after the #1 92 deck over hull. The 92 canopy is a revolutionary design, from looking inside, it's hard to believe it's the same hull, but it is. 20 years old, dozens of the most aggressive driver's/throttle men on the water; and the boat looks and rides like it was made yesterday (kevlar), amazes me to this day, take care.

I thought he was insinuating that Craig didn't have hull number 1, I was going to disagree. Decided to completely ignore the Baja comment.
