I just picked up this boat recently and am looking for more information on it. From what what I read, there were only 7 of them built and this was the 1st one....although it was completely gutted and restored a couple of years ago.

Was it really a CIGARETTE mold? (looks like bottom mold then a different deck installed)

In this second link......the second pic (white/black) boat is still here in Clearwater......Johns Pass area actually. I just went by her on it's lift a couple weekends ago and it still looks great.

the more learn about power boating history the more it seems every east cost hull is a splash or derivative of a old magnum, stretched, shortened, cut down, add steps, etc and everything built in havasu was laid up at the same shop, lol not every thing fits in these categories but a lot do.

Super interesting! So that's what happened:
Cig 38' mold sold to Force 10 and then used for a Baja 36' Outlaw.

The boat I have was the 'JAcks r Wild boat'. It was completely gutted and re-done, all new stringers, bulkhead biaxial glass with Epoxy. Solid as a tank and the power to push it to 90mph!

Not sure how the Force 10 was born, just know the true story on the Baja 36 Outlaw. Most are splashed with minor changes made, but the Baja 36 hull plug was built with dimensions based on the Force 10.
