Holy chit!!!
Those speeds are unreal in that boat. So, how's the ride otherwise? Does it get really loose, chine-walk? Sounds like a blast! |
Surprisingly....Niether boat handled too bad !! Both have dual ram full latham steering. The water wasn't too choppy though...under 1 foot chop. I did notice he was countersteering alot, but i didn't notice the chine walk too much. Was definetly a thrill !

Wow!!! 90+ MPH!!!! :D  That's nutty!!!!:D I'd need more boat beneath me for those sort of speeds.

Ever watch a video of one of those dumping it at around 75-85??
It aint pretty! Dont you think you should have the thing set up with full race straps/seats/helmets at that speed? The maker sure did not design that boat to go that fast. Why is it that most people will put 12k into speed **** and not spend a penny on safety gear in case of crash?? How many board folk have safety gear.....hmmm, this is a good subject for a new thread....... |
I wore a full diaper to protect my shorts. :D
I guess that wasn't what you meant by saftey equipment ? ;) |

I have a 98 Outlaw 24 and have hit 78.8 on the GPS. I am debating wether to get a procharger as right now it is normally aspirated. I am also running a 25p Merc Mirage. (Have not had time to play with the prop yet):D Tyler Crockett sure know how to "massage" an engine.
