Question on 2005 Baja 33' Outlaw
My dad is buying a 2005 33' Baja Outlaw. It has 237 hours, two 496 HO engines, one owner, only freshwater run, Outdrives are Bravo 1 X-drive. Just looking for any feedback/advice as to issues this make/model may have had. Is there anything inherent problem areas he should check over before buying? Also, is 237 a lot of hours for a 2005?
Thanks!
Jenny
(PS my dad is not the most computer literate...so that is why I'm forced to ask here )

The 33 is a pretty good all around boat.
237hrs isnt much for hours.
Just do the routine maintenance, put gas in it and hit the water

I owned a 2004, purchased new with same power/drives, for almost two years. We used it a lot. Sold it at about 160 hrs. It had only FW use. Was a great beginner twin engine boat with a lot of room. Had a trim cylinder failure at about 150 hrs. Had a Livorsi GPS speedo module failure at about 100 hrs. The stereo, "Polk/Momo Premium Upgrade", looked like it had been wired by a drunk orangutang. The balance control went front to back and the fader went left side between full and off and did not affect the right side speakers. Marine Max could not fix it after three tries. So I took an entire weekend and rewired my own new boat stereo when it had only about 25 hours on it. It had been wired by a drunk orangutang. When I was finished the wiring was neat and clean and the stereo, using all the original components, kicked ass.

I've had mine for about two years, with just one cool fuel issue, mines abit older than the one ur looking at with around 735 hrs on it. Good size boat with a huge dance floor. Good to see he's not buying some blue head boat. Sounds like a great engine and drive combo, go for it and post a pic, ur dad will enjoy it.
