i have 2 sets of GLM alum on my smallblocks. about 5 years old and already leaking. all fresh water time. i put a hose around the back of motors connecting the 2 drain petcocks and a ball valve to drain manifolds after each run to get thru the summer. i think i am gonna run that setup on any engine i have from now on. why have water above the exhaust valves trying to find a way in? and if manifolds are dry most of the time, won't they last that much longer?

I've heard lots of storries about people being perfectly happy with them. I wish I could say the same.

I ordered two sets of them a few years back and the castings on 3 out of the 4 manifolds were off center so bad that they were completely un usable. Not to mention one of the manifolds stil lhad tubmbling stones still inside it. To top it off they shipped all 4 peices in a loose box with each manifold wrapped in paper thin foam, there was'nt much paint left on them. I sent them back and ordered full SM instead.
