Who says bigger isn't better!!! (Pics inside)
Just bright home our new boat and can't be more excited!!! We have a 89' Baja 235 force with a 468ci motor and have been using it the last two summers, but I had the big for a bigger boat and came across an awesome deal on a 98 velocity 280. We just got it home and I absolutely love it so far (on the trailer). It's a major upgrade I feel from what we had with drop out seats big stereo with 4 subs and mid/highs through out with 3 amps. The boat is in really good shape, but needs a good cleaning which I hope to do soon. I've already talked with bob at marine kinetics about the build I want to do this winter. Basically, looking to do 600 hp naturally aspirated. I got the boat knowing the motor has one cylinder that is low on compression so I figure it will be a good winter project. I also want to add hydro steering so that's on te list of things to do this winter as well.
All that I've read has me excited I have a good hull that will handle the power well.
Enough of the boring and onto the pictures.

Give the interior a good cleaning with a magic eraser... Don't be too aggressive on the stichings as they do deteriorate them. The any stains will bleach out with the sun. Congrats on the ride!
