Default Aronow boat

There was a thread a while back in the Pantera section where a guy bought a boat that looked like a Pantera and had a Pantera dash but wasn't a Pantera. Some people speculated that it was an Aronow? I know Don Aronow started several of the top name boat companies but didn't know he ever made anything under his name. Can someone please educate me?

Aronow made a 32' (which the molds became the 34' Magic)and 37' V-hull under his name.

The 39' Cats were sold to goverment as Blue Thunder Catamarans, and to the public as USA Racing Cats, not a very good product for speed or design. And the 32' in the picture below, I thought was a 34' but the ad has it listed as a 32' boat if you enlage the V bottom picture.

In the picture below the Cat has Aronow Powerboats on the faring, but the Cats were sold as USA Cats from I remember to the general public.

The Pantera in question was not made by pantera, but used the name. I believe it derived from an aranow mold, but was not made by aranow.

Yes there were 2 made out of the 45 Aronow Mold, it was Branded Pantera but out of Missouri or Kansas.

I owned one of them, bought from Martin Marine then sold it back to them then it ended up in Michigan. Triple 502 EFI w Bravo

Yes, I owned one of them, I bought it from Martin Marine in 97 Brand new, Boat was titled 95 Model, I had to finish installing Hydraulic Hoses and few other details. I bought the Props from Tres Martin that had a shop next to his Father and Hunter Paint in Ft Lauderdale near Airport. It was stored at Fort Apache all the time I owned it, I saw a few pics of it on a rack in a post somewhere on this website. I believe it was Kevlar Hull, hull was cored and glass was a weird yellow Material ive never seen again. Hull was 45 and with rear Platform made it a 47. Triple 502 EFI w Bravo, Generator, AC. I know the other one Tres took off the EFIs and put Blowers on them. What an awesome ride My Boat ran I think around 79 in flat water or 4 to 6 footers. I think I have several Pictures of it Ill Check.

I think Sonic bought the molds and they are buiding them.
