Stay up in FT lauderdale like i did last year and take your boat down... oh wait im one of the few who live here :D sorry! Its about a 45 minute ride in a boat from lauderdale to miami, not not that bad. I think we pissed off a few rich people comming in at 2 and 3 am into the marina with twin unmuffled 600's idleing... <shrug> oh well the got over it... I think this year a stay IN miami is in order... I have been to the south beach area a few times.. The RIU is nice, but the SAVOY is the BEST!.. its on the corner of 5th and oceanside and ON the beach not across the street... just dont ask what the rates are ;)
