Hey all.

No particular plans for the upcoming Labor day weekend?

How about a trip to beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida for the first ever OPBA Long Weekend Poker Run sponsored by the best assed powerboat club in the US the Offshore Powerboat Association.

Friday night pre run party to get to know everyone.

Saturday join 60 + Offshore rigs in the run from the House of Pain, to Tampa, to St. Pete, to Bradenton then into Sarasota for the HUGE awards/pool party for your efforts.

Sunday the festivities will be sponsored by the Sarasota side of the club, and do they know how to get it on. www.sarasotaboating.com

We are all a little pent up with the lack of good offshore racing on the west coast so screw it lets have our own party.

Those of you wishing for a race, change your vacation plans before its to late and haul that rig in and let the OPBA show you how we like to do it. Check out www.opbafl.org for more information.

3 classes run, from the fast cats, the big v's to the party patrol clean up crew.

The best hand wins, along with many other opportunities for prizes and recognition.

The OPBA known for its beautiful ladies (who are not bought and paid for, at least by the promotors) and the great comraderie that has spawned a club of 120+ boats that boat together each and every month year round.

This will be the largest poker run on the west coast of Florida this year that is sponsored by a non profit group. The money you spend goes toward the fun you are going to have, period.
