Picture of my new dog
This is Lucky. Thanks Too Old for helping me to get this incorporated into a thread.
Lucky is 13 weeks old and I'm fostering her for Guide Dog Foundation. She will be a seeing eye dog for a blind person. I will have her for a year and then she'll be trained for 6 months before being paired with a blind person for 25 days of round-the-clock training.

She's definetly doing better today and right now, she's trying to figure out how to get the peanut butter out of one of her treats. But, everytime she gets a little of the stuff, she runs for the water bowl. It's pretty funny to watch her struggle with the Jif. The trainers told me that peanut butter is a good treat to use and that it will keep her occupied for hours. They seem to be right. I'll try to get a picture of it...

By the way, if anyone knows someone who could either use a seeing eye dog, or who would like to raise one, the organization is called the Guide Dog Foundation and they can be reached at 1-800-5-GUIDES.
