Tarpon Point (no sand) is right down the street from us and we've stayed there a few times before we bought and moved here, real nice place, but if you want a beach stay at one of the places on Ft. Myers Beach.

Default Why fort myers beach?

Go to Sanibel. Diamond head is nice, but we are in season. If you are gonna PAY to stay, upper captive has south seas. Expensive, but lots to see and do. You can even take the ferry to cabbage key

If you do not need boat parking, recommend diamond head, pink shell, or harbor house. Got a condo on the beach across from Hooters.
Might as well be in the action and walking distance from bars while there. Definately head the Cottage for a good time!
