I've had no trouble after putting out three big DampRid buckets before covering in the winter. Prop open all of your storage areas, open the cabin door and put a bucket in the cabin, cockpit, and engine room. Buy it at Home Depot or Lowe's.

DampRid to keep the humidity down. KanberraGel to kill/control mold spores. Open it up and air it out whenever the winter weather permits.

Several of us use these in our cruisers during winter. Our boats are either in the water or on lifts, but still on the water in our slips. I open every compartment, nook, and cranny so nothing is closed up. This item has a small fan that circulates air, at a very small amount, over a small heating element. They run nonstop Nov1 thru mid April. Boats are as fresh as the day we leave them. Any amount of air circulation is the key.

We have been using the Yacht fresh now for a few months it works great. A couple of my buddy’s are also using it in there classic cars. Get that musky smell out.
I highly recommend it.
Thanks Crystal .
