Shouldn't we have a requirement for a huge gaudy painted, chrome clad, multi wheel diesel truck and trailer with a tilt bed to haul this thing ? ( so much for carbon credits).

Roughing in the bottom of the 1:10 scale prototype. If you look closely at the Baron's design a couple things become evident. The "traditional" pointed bow of a Vee, followed by the incorporation of the Cat aftersection. This allows the vessel to operate as a typical cat, as the 50,000 hp twin turbines provide necessary bow lift while allowing air to compress under the tunnel. This simple modification provies airlift only under the last third creating an aerodynamic stability that greatly reduces the probability of blow over at trans sonic speeds. Second, the single bow spear as opposed to typical Cat "pickle" reduces the the natural tendency of a cat to stuff one of the tips upon encountering roll axis oscillation when combine with a "trip" force. And finally third, the exaggerated upward curve single bow point has a large degree of positive hydrodynamic lift to the dreaded "stuff"

You want green? Take the Switzer-Yak to 100,000 feet via hot-air balloon and let it drop. The lifting balloon will produce negligible emissions and the Switzer-Yak will end up going a hell of a lot faster than 150 mph on its way back to earth.

Jim Darr could be the throttle man and Jeff Murray could trailer it to all the poker runs. Hopefully it can handle all the cruiser wakes at lotto. Okay I'm all out of ideas

While I appreciate the intense thought you have all obviously put into this in a short period of time, I think you could be a bit more detailed in your answers here. I have it on a good authority that the military police of a major third world country are very interested in this concept since their earlier attempt at making an attack helicopter out of large bunches of bananas and a secret mixture of coca leaves and hashish is somehow stuck in a vague fog. Obviously, this is very important as the U.S. backed insurgents are approaching the gates of this U.S. backed dictatorship....armed with Russian and Chinese weapons provided by a mysterious European nobleman...."Baron S".

Ok, we make this thing a semi submersible whereby we can better take advantage of the oceans's currents and at the same time stealthiness. Both could reduce the need for 100% of the time on power which reduces the carbon footprint and in justified situations the air propellers are still functional and can be started and used again.

At the front of the sponsons, we incorporate a bio degradable prickly drum that can rotate and harvest the sea weed/kelp and we can process the sea weed to make bio diesel to run the turbine on.

At the same time the we build the thing in carbon fiber and strategically put Aluminum plates on it and use the naturally occurring electrolysis of the salt water to generate electrical currents and with this we can use to split the hydrogen molecule off water and further our reduction on carbon fuels by burning the generated Hydrogen (byproduct being water) and be even greener.

What we have here is a self sufficent power supply, making both bio diesel and Hydrogen, stealth, low radar signature craft with unlimited draft restrictions and qualifies for a California HOV lane sticker

Now, we're getting somewhere...and it's about time... This project is almost 22 hours old and we aren't even in beta testing....geez...Rome was built in a day after all.

Back to work...how much unobtanium should we budget for and where does the Frammis proportional hydrogenator fit into the mix?
