Massaged LS3 heads flow great, but it's what happens after the intake valve closes that amazes me. So much compression, so little timing required, so much torque per CID etc.

Excited to see how this boat runs and also to how the peformance, fuel burn, and cost compare to the Merc 565 boat. As far as that goes, I'm just glad Formula is building boats. Kind of scary to think about how few options will be out there for used boats 5 or 6 years down the road.

Can't wait to hear the "crackle"! The Ilmor 725 MV-10 does the same thing off-throttle...

Ballpark pricing? Sounds like a great option for sub-30' singles as well but those usually can't absorb a high engine cost unless it a high-end west coast cat, etc.

I'm gonna guess $40k

If the performance is on par with the 565, it should sell just fine. Get a few efficient hulls that are priced reasonable on the market. so that these engines can shine.
