Installing Headers
Does anyone have any tips on how to install headers easier. I have a pair on newly rebuilt 557 engines with PSI blower motors having a difficult time. Any help would be good.

Find the two hardest bolts and START those first. Only start them a few turns. Then Start all the rest of the bolts. tighten all of the bolts a few turns at a time. If you tighten one or two all the way down it may cause a few to get pinched so that you can't turn them or get a wrench on them.
Mine are easy because I can sit down in front of my engines and reach in from the front of the engines.

Cut the hex head off of a long bolt of similiar thread size as header bolt. Thread into the fartherest header bolt holes. They will act as a guide and support as you get the inner bolts started. Remove the guides and install the last 2 bolts.
Hope this helps.
