just my o2..

Edit,,i take it back about the merc pkg..its a 496 boat that is not in production anymore so theirs another negative point..
would you be offended if you had your Formula for sale for $35k and they offered you 15k for it? I know I would!..but to each his own i guess. A 1996 270 Lazer just sold for $15k in a matter of a couple HOURS last week and the only advertising was on facebook.

Unfortunately there are only a few manufacturers that are still in business that build a good quality boat that is in the $30k range. A 29 Formula with twin small blocks would be awesome but I doubt you will find one for $30k

You might need to extend your range to find a nice boat. Sometimes the drive out ways the price of the boat, but sometimes the drive will be worth it. When I start looking for my new to me boat with twins, I will go get it as long as its in the lower 48 states.

My 336 Came from Marco Island Florida. Had a third party do an inspection and sea trial. Boat was everything seller said. Had a new trailer built for it down there. Trailer dealer loaded it and I had it shipped to my house.
That was 3 years ago. Boat & I are very happy with each other..

I would keep looking. A 28 footer with a single 496 is going to be a real dog. Not much fun to drive......
