Rumor mill has it APBA NJ is canx, as is St .Pete in favor of the Bahama's, when going to the apba board, many ask the same question! with no reply, i think this is so irresponsible, how hard is to say yes they are canx or hey we screwed up and apoligize to all the people you made plans to attend, but could not come to terms with the organizers. i have been to several races this year for both SBI and APBA, both have thier merits and pitfalls. it seems that keeping people in the dark is what the boating industry is all about, yes the check is in the mail , yes your boat will be ready friday for the weekend, yes this will be the biggest display of powerboats!!! too many false promises!!!!! the numbers are way down for boats attending, is this due to econmical downfall? or are the racers finding better things to occupy thier time with like Poker runs, and family activities, or just plain tried of all the rule changes, lack of support from sponsors,
and not having a set schedule for a full season?? your replys and opinion on this matter will be greatly apprecaited. let your voice be heard and of course use your freedom of speech. Many have died to protect it.
