When I saw and read this I doubt Fountain had the industry standard for lamination schedules. Pretty shabby work stapling stringer components together without any structural bonding.

This article may help answer some of your questions, http://features.boats.com/boat-conte...-and-pro-line/.
I wrote it for boats.com awhile back. Keep in mind that the boats.com audience is much more general and less in the know about high-performance boats than the people in this community. Still, there is some basic stuff you can take from from John Walker's comments in the article.
1. Baja—entry level sportboats and runabouts.
2. Fountain—production sportboats and fishing center consoles.
3. Donzi—Semi-custom sportboats and general-use center consoles.
That's my takeaway, at least.

From a business standpoint, the first thing you would think they would do is pay a personal visit to the top 3 dealers and see what can be done to get them back on board. they need to rebuild the relationship with its dealers.
To me factory direct doesn't seem to work to well.... When I buy a car or boat I want to see it, sit in it, and drive it. I would order after I have done that...

Definitly a crotch gazer. He's married, and that's not his wife. Its his daughters friend. I think that's a stick on mustache. His white panel van is hooked up to the eagle trailer at the boat ramp, loaded with circus peanuts and duct tape. He's toasting to his sporty new faring, but hasn't realized yet the side effects of doubling up the rogaine dosage.
So yes, he meets all the necessary criteria to own a Baja.

not really...just people building boats that shouldn't be...it's as tall as it is long... and you think they would have cleaned the water lines off it before they put it on the front page of their website... or take the picture of the child molester toasting champagne to a girl 30 years younger than him...
