Crazy........IMO, those boats just shouldn't be in poker runs. AquaMainia, MyWay and this one drag racing on crowded poker run waterways. Fun stuff! LOL

Thanks Matt,

I hear this is likely to be your first year to Boyne Thunder? Would be great to meet you, and the run is a riot!

As for the boat.. WHAT A MONSTER! Amazing power and even better handling. I knew after having the 1350 boat, that you just can't beat how a Mystic runs.. amazing. The only thing she is missing is a little makeup, and Chris Mills will definitely make the boat look the way she was meant to be.

Thanks for a great article. You last line is kind of funny, Won't be much of a surprise anymore, will it.

Congrats Tom!
I'm glad to hear the 50' coffee table is back on the water!

It's all about safety for me... If the pace is 80 mph, so be it, Ill run 80, but on lake Michigan in a nice 2 foot chop, and nobody in front of you, no reason not to stretch its legs.

Glad to read that someone bought the JBS Racing Mystic. To nice of a boat to be sitting in a garage, I wish that it was on the race circuit and hope all is going well with Jeff as we haven't heard from him for awhile.

Agreed Tom......safety first. We just didn't see much of that last year with MyWay or AquaMania on a poker run or two.

Enjoy the new project and BE SAFE.

I admit, lots of circumstances are out of my or any operators control, and who knows, maybe ill be the next guy that everybody is saying "did you see what that idiot did on youtube!" .. I hope not!

That being said.. last year was ugly when it came to tubine boats "playing nice" on the poker runs.
